Blair's Best!
MS. JACKSON
Really committed to her work and helping her students succeed (Student submission)
The entire Blair Dean Team is phenomenal.
They are always visible and extremely supportive of staff and students. Because of their presence on the floor and the positive tone set on each hallways, students know that respect, responsibility and safety are expected. We appreciate their professionalism of this Dean "Dream" Team and all of their hard work to ensure Blair's success as a school. (Staff member submission)
MS. McBEE
She is just wonderful. Her dedication to her 6th graders is unique and really special. She also coaches the cheerleading squad and loves all the girls! She is one of a kind and really cares! (Parent submission)

Teacher of the Year!
According to the folks that nominated Ms. Tubbs, she does it all! Solid teacher who knows her students. Ms. Tubbs does so much to support her fellow teachers, students, and families. She organizes dances for students, provides PD, runs SCA, created an amazing yearbook with student support, and so much more. Ms. Tubbs is a huge asset to the NPS and Blair community. She continues to perfect her craft by seeking professional development opportunities throughout the school year and summer. She works hard with her team to ensure instructional needs are met for students. Outside of instruction, Ms. Tubbs engages in other students through her leadership with SCA and Yearbook. She is a great example of teaching and leadership for Blair.
Recognizing the Teacher of the Year serves to acknowledge and celebrate exceptional educators, someone that represents our collective efforts every day. Our teacher of the year inspires others, highlights the importance of education, and showcases the positive impact teachers have on students and communities. Thank you to everyone that took the time to nominate someone, and congrats to all those that were nominated. We truly have an amazing staff; I am humbled to work alongside each and every one of you to make a difference.
Champion of Students
Each month, over the past several years, staff members recognize each other by selecting a Champion of Students!
Ms. Hawkins and Ms. Keys proudly passed the Champion of Students belt to Mr. Redmond, congrats on being the latest of our Champion of Students!
They passed the championship belt to him because "he is structured, innovative, and engaging. The use of daily affirmations to grab student's attention and sets the stage for a yes I can attitude."
