LECC WEEKLY TIGER CUB TALK
September 23, 2022
I hope this email finds you well! Hard to believe that Fall is here and October is right around the corner. All of our Tiger Cubs continue to learn and grow each day. It is awesome to see this progress firsthand. So so proud of our students!
Our PS Tiger Cubs enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors this week: visits to the LECC Butterfly Garden, playing on the playground with friends, and watching a Praying Mantis lay eggs! Our KG Tiger Cubs were Apple Scientists this week! They are using apples to count, sort, label, read, and taste!
Looking into next week, our KG Tiger Cubs will attend their first Tiger Cubs in the News assembly. At this assembly, we celebrate our monthly nominated students who have shown great examples of our LECC core values: care, respect, and responsibility. Teachers nominate students each month for us to recognize at this monthly assembly. Tiger Cubs who make the News receive a certificate and Terrific Tiger Cub bracelet, and get their picture hung on the "Breaking News!" bulletin board right outside the Front Office.
Please check out the rest of this week's Tiger Cub Talk for helpful information from our LECC Team! It is a great day to be a LECC Tiger Cub!
Thank you!

Safety Message from Loveland City School District
Princeton High School entered lockdown this morning, after a hoax 911 reporting an active shooter. At least two other Ohio schools have received similar hoax threats today. We want to reassure our Loveland families that we have robust safety plans in place that would allow us to respond to any safety concerns, and in the event of an emergency, we will always work to communicate with families as quickly as possible.
Please remind your kids that if they have safety concerns, they should reach out to trusted adults at school - if they see something, they should say something. In light of recent events, it’s also a good idea to remind them that false reports can carry serious consequences.

Substitute Teachers and Aides Needed
Ready to Save the Day for Loveland Early Childhood Center? Loveland City Schools is currently hiring substitute teachers and educational aides through our partnership with Sub Solutions. Our school needs community members to help when a staff member is absent. Teacher substitutes need a Bachelor’s degree in any field, educational aide substitutes do not.
First step is to complete a job application at http://www.subsolutions.org/. Click ‘new subs’ and the appropriate icon.
Questions? Call Twyla Hoyle with Sub Solutions at 513.674.4589.
