Character Trait of the Month of April - Positive Attitude
During April, teachers will be looking for students who demonstrate a Positive Attitude.
This can look like: smiling at others; trying to see the good in every situation; not throwing a fit when you don’t get your way.
Additionally, a positive attitude can sound like this: I understand. We can do hard things. Let’s try again!
Don’t Forget - We will recognize and reward these positive behaviors at our Rocky Rallies.
On Tuesday, April 4th, we will wear neon colors for Positive Attitude.

CALLING ALL DADS, STEPDADS, GRANDPAS, BROTHERS AND UNCLES...WE NEED YOU!
Want an easy way to connect with your child in a meaningful way?
WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America, which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their students’ life. The goal is to have these men spend a day a year at the school to be an extra set of eyes and ears as a positive male role model.
WatchDOGS are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at Rountree. During the day, WatchDOGS help with Specials, play at recess, eat lunch with students, watch the school entrances and hallways, assist with traffic flow and any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own students, but other students as well.
What do I do to become a WATCHDOG:
Complete Background check at www.allenisd.org
