Message From Mrs. Herring
Being a part of a family means you are part of something very special. We all understand what that means when we look around at all of the amazing things this Tiger Family continues to accomplish on a regular basis. Being part of the Tiger Family is not something I have ever taken lightly and a role I am incredibly proud of each and every day. However, the time has come that I must put my own family first. As my own children have gotten older and busier, meeting the needs of my two families has become very challenging. I have made the decision to step away from my role as Associate Principal at Travis High School and take a position in Katy ISD where I live and my own kids are in school. My last day at Travis will be Friday, November 1st. Travis is filled with an incredible team of leaders that I know will continue the tradition of excellence that we have all worked to achieve. I truly appreciate the opportunity I have had to work with you and your students as a very proud member of this Travis Tiger Staffulty.
Once a Tiger Always a Tiger!

Information for Travis PTO/YES
Parents and Students – The Travis YES program, sponsored by the Travis PTO, is a great way to keep track of your student’s volunteer hours that are so important to colleges and universities. See the Travis website under Clubs and Organizations for more information, guidelines, and forms for YES.
Students – if you need a printout of your YES hours for NHS applications, come to the YES table in the Commons on TUESDAYS and fill out the request form. You may then pick up your printout the following Tuesday, but it is YOUR responsibility to keep track of your deadline and plan accordingly.
