The core of the program is the “21-Day Challenge,” an innovative, three-week nutrition education initiative backed by participating school districts, educators and parents. During the challenge, elementary school students are invited to change their current after-school snacking habits by consuming more fruits and vegetables. Using the recipe books and our Healthy Snack Finder as a foundation, kids are empowered to create fun, healthy snacks on their own or with minimal supervision.

Data collected at the end of each challenge shows that kids are changing their eating habits, trying new fruits and vegetables, and introducing the program to their extended families.

*Take the survey - October 26th ~ November 2nd

Below is the link to register. Please feel free to share with your families.

The Character Trait for the month of November is Citizenship!

Citizenship is defined as the qualities that a person is expected to have as a responsible member of a community. We demonstrate our citizenship by showing respect, honesty, compassion, courage, etc.

Good citizens are willing to learn, work hard, protect the environment, help others, respect people and property, and are considerate.

Each of us are members of multiple communities – home, school, local community, and digitally. This month, talk to your children about how they can be good citizens in the different areas, as well as have them provide examples. Also discuss with them their rights and responsibilities of citizenship.

Parents, please have your students check the LOST & FOUND as they are traveling by that area. We found some pretty nice jackets, sweaters & lots of water bottles...

Now would be a great time to mark all items with your students name on it.

Thank you!!!

Way to go, parents, on getting your kiddos to school on time! Our number of tardies has steadily decreased over the past couple of weeks. As a reminder, students arriving after the bell rings at 7:45 am will need to be signed in by a parent/guardian at the office.

In addition, please do not drop-off your student before 7:30 am. We do not have staff available to supervise until 7:30. Thank you!
