LMS Back to School Information
Back to School Registration
By now you should have received an email from SDPC letting you know when the site is open for online registration. School Registration for the 2021-2022 school year will require you to go online to update your student’s personal information. Please note that this is a required step that must be completed before the start of the school year. If you have any issues updating your student’s personal information or any issues with registration Gateway, you may email ChariArnette@pickens.k12.sc.us .
Online Registration needs to be completed before July 29th!
All 6th - 8th graders need to complete the Back-to-School Gateway information update!

In order to login and complete the Back-to-School Gateway update, you will be required to enter 1) your child's student number (listed at the top of the email sent by SDPC) and 2) a password (your student's date of birth).
- Username - Child's student number (listed on the email sent by SDPC)
- Password - Your student's date of birth in the following format: mm/dd/yyyy (example: 07/10/2005).
- As a new feature this year, parents can have a link sent to their cell phone to submit pictures for an updated proof of residence for address changes.
You can also access the Back-to-School Gateway from the SCPC website by clicking on the "Enroll" button at the top and going to the “Online Registration” link. Then select the Back-to-School Gateway page.
*To establish proof of residency, you must provide one of the documents listed below.
Electric bill Gas bill Water bill Cable television or satellite television bill
The bill you provide for proof of residency must be current and be in the parent/guardian’s name, and must show the service address.
If none of the above documents are available in the parent/guardian’s name, then an Affidavit of Residence is required. Please contact us for instructions on completing an affidavit. We cannot accept the following: Drivers’ license Property tax notices Cell phone bills Telephone bills
We will have laptops available at school on July 29th, Meet-the-Teacher Day, if you need to complete it then!
LMS Start and Dismissal times for 2021-2022
- Students will not be able to enter the building until 8:00 AM. Doors will open promptly at 8:00 AM.

Fees can be paid at MySchoolBucks.com.
Required Fees:
LMS 20-21 Technology Fee - $20.00.
If your student has not returned items, such as textbook(s), tech materials, hotspots, library book(s), locker locks, athletic uniform(s), etc. from the 2020-2021 school year, your student will need to return the items or pay the fee for replacement.
Meet the Teacher 2021
- Optional 6th grade meeting for parents will be held at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm in gym
- Students will tour school and see grade level classrooms
- Computers will be set up in the cafeteria for any parent that has not been able to fill out registration gateway at home or make payment on myschool bucks for tech fee

Breakfast and Lunch for the 2021-2022 School Year
Breakfast and lunch will continue to be served to all students for free this year!
Chromebook Update
All families are reminded that every student needs to pay the $20 Tech It Home device fee to cover a comprehensive insurance policy for your SDPC issued device. This fee can be paid via MySchoolBucks (button above).
Any new students enrolled in PCVA who need to pick-up a student Chromebook, should come to Car Pick-up/Drop-off loop at LMS from 8am -11am or 1pm -3pm on Friday, July 30 to pick up a device for your student.
LMS face to face students will be issued their school device the first week of school.
Every teacher at Liberty Middle uses Schoology to post assignments and grades. If you have any questions about using Schoology at home or regarding internet security options, please checkout the links below, which provide a wealth of information.
Need to talk to the School Nurse or drop-off medications on campus? TDAP
REMINDER ALL 7th grade students must have their TDAP shot before the start of school on August 3rd.
Nurse Clem will be on campus the week of July 26th. If you would like to drop-off medications at school or meet with her to discuss student health concerns, please email her (cariclem@pickens.k12.sc.us) or call (397-3407) to set up an appointment.
