Students began learning about explorers on Thursday and Friday. Next week, we will continue to learn about European exploration. We will be learning about famous explorers and the motives behind their voyages.
SCIENCE
Students started working in their lab groups Friday and met the “little friends” they will be caring for the next several months. Ask your student what living creature we are observing and researching now. Next week we will continue to discuss how to make scientific observations, the metric system and the difference between qualitative and quantitative data. Students will then apply these new concepts while observing their “little friends”.
