The isoglosses are collected from different states and countries. The isoglosses are like words that mean the same thing. But it is written differently.

British people speak differently because of there region and what the dialect is. There English varies on the country within the region. There are three main dialect groups in England. Northern Midland and Southern.
Differences between British and American English
Why is there a difference between British and American. The difference between them is isolation. They are both separated from each other so they have different ways in speaking and different ways in writing. The vocabulary in different part of america is formed because of isolation in the states.
Dialect in the Unite States
The northern colonies are from the southeastern lands of New England. They have different regions and each colonies have different dialect.
