Events and Activities
Meet the Teacher - On Thursday February 2 from 3pm-5pm. This is an opportunity for your child to show you their learning space and for you to meet their teacher. There will be a free barbequed sausage! Mrs Bateman (Learning Space 6) has a prior meeting at that time. Learning Space 6 will be open but Mrs Bateman will be present another afternoon to be advised.
Welcome Back Picnic - This will be held on the school grounds on Friday February 17 from 5pm. It is a chance to bring along your family and food, enjoy the pool and picnic with other families. More details to follow.
Daily School Checklist
Please ensure all learners come to school each day with:
Their sunhat
A water bottle (water only)
Swimming Togs and Towel every day
Sun screened prior to arriving at school
Swimming - All learners are to bring their named swimming togs and named towel to school each day. We welcomed staff from the Lido who are supporting our staff with Swimming Instructions
Swimming is part of the Physical Education curriculum and the pool will also be open for rostered lunchtime swims. If you have concerns about your child swimming please contact me c.cosgrove@stjamescatholic.school.nz.
