Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teaching and Teachers
ECET2 New Jersey & Pennsylvania
Our convening, modeled after the national ECET2, is committed to growing, nurturing, and leveraging the abilities of each individual educator in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The ECET2NJPA 2016 theme is: The Strength is in the Room. Our focus is on using the combined power of each invitee to collectively strengthen individual pedagogy, knowledge, relationships, and trust. Every person in each classroom working together makes the entire population better. When educators share openly, vulnerably, in a trusting environment, where the focus is on supporting the profession as a whole, students and their families prosper. Our goal is to empower, challenge, and celebrate each attendee in the room to share their story, support their peers, and re-invest in their colleagues when they return from our room to theirs.

Session proposals may focus on all aspects of education (core content, technology integration, whole child, digital literacy, etc.). Please know you are not limited to these, and we encourage any and all ideas you have for a session you'd like to lead.
Part of the ECET2NJPA experience will be structured in a traditional conference format where sessions will be 50 minutes in length. Please use this form to propose your idea for a workshop. Proposals must be received by April 30, 2016 to be considered. Accepted presenters will be notified via email on May 30, 2016.
