Silly Squirrel News
June 2017
May Recap
April showers brought May flowers! The Silly Squirrels got sweet corn and pumpkins transplanted out to the garden, and carrots, sunflowers, and radishes planted, with more to do! The children continue to weed, water, and plant the gardens which provides an opportunity to get their hands dirty, while getting into nature. We were able to have super fun day and celebrate with a Super Hero day! Thank you to the families who lent the classroom a bunch of dress-up clothes; they had a blast! Also, the children were able to start marigold sprouts and give them as gifts, and celebrated with muffins with mom's for Mother's Day.
