PBIS Paws Pride Lesson-This week the classrooms at Conley reviewed the SWAP program. The purpose of the program is to help kids know what to do if someone is treating them disrespectfully or they witness someone being treated with disrespect. Stop, Walk, Talk to an adult are the three steps we practiced. For more information, please see the note regarding the SWAP program.
PTA Caramel Apple Sale- All orders are due Wednesday!
This week we began Unit 1 Week 6-Interactive Review. The students will be reviewing skills, strategies, grammar, vocabulary, and other activities we learned throughout the unit. All activities are on the Haiku page. The students will do activities in the classroom and at home for homework. The test will be on Friday.
We will continue to learn about the Challenger disaster this week. On Thursday we will be going to the Challenger Learning Center for our field trip. On the day of the trip, please make sure your child wears their 5th grade T-shirt that was purchased at the beginning of year. There will be a professional photographer at the Challenger Learning Center taking pictures. Would love for all the students to be in their shirts. Also, there is no option for hot lunch. The students need to bring a disposable lunch. We will not have a lunch bin that will contain their lunch boxes. Please bring a lunch that is completely disposable. Mrs. Rojek, Mrs. Panzloff, and Mr. Metzler will accompany our class. Thanks to all of you that volunteered. I appreciate it!
