Mrs. Claus came to Holy Family!
A Message from Our Principal
In preparing for the coming of our Savior, we prayed / sang the Divine Mercy Chaplet. This helps to prepare our hearts and souls to ask God for His forgiveness and mercy (“…have mercy on us and on the whole world.”) We have the opportunity to profess our shortcomings tonight at 7pm here at Holy Family’s Communal Reconciliation service. There will be 8 priests to hear confessions.
Frequently put your hand on your heart, remembering Jesus is there.
Our National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is facilitating Toys for Tots fundraiser. The United States Marine Corps reserve founded this program in 1947 to help needy children receive a gift at Christmas. Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 18, will be the last day the NJHS will be accepting monetary donations. Thank you
Please remember to have your children to school on time. Our first bell is 7:50am. Also, beginning Monday, January 7, 2019, parents will no longer be able to walk their children to class. Early childhood (PK3-Kinder) will be chaperoned to their classrooms. Additionally, if you have to pick up your child early, for any reason, you must check in at the front office and a staff member will see to it your child is brought to you. This process is part of our Diocesan safe and secure plan. Thank you for helping to make our school safe.
Students may also wear Christmas shirts, sweatshirts, or sweaters, with school uniforms this Wednesday, Dec. 19.
Please join us in singing traditional Christmas hymns this Friday, December 21, at 10:45am in the Church. Students may also wear Christmas shirts, sweatshirts, or sweaters on Friday. They may also wear Santa hats on Friday except when we are in Church.
Class Christmas parties will follow caroling at about 11:15am. We will have closing prayer and dismissal after parties. Please remember that there will be NO After School Care on Friday, December 21.
Please find attached the letter from our Bishop.
Peace in Christ,
