New Resource: Brain Pop
CPS has purchased BrainPop! All teachers have access to BrainPop through the CPS portal. This site is an awesome resource for introducing a new math topics, showing examples for writing, and includes amazing videos and resources that change day -to -day. Login through Google Suite. It takes awhile to login the first time, but that should be the only time you have to do it.
Many, many new books
I ordered tons of new books for our Media Center including everybody nonfiction, graphic novels, Mark Twain and Show Me Award nominees, Kansas City Librarians picks for Third Graders, and many more. Come down and browse!
Capstone Reading program
Well, it's not MyON, but Capstone digital reading program is here. Teachers or students on desktops or Chromebooks may access Capstone through the portal. We have also have a link to Capstone on the WBE webpage under Quick Links.
On Ipads, students will need the following login and password one time only:
Student Username: wbes93
Student Password: school
If you'd like to create booklists on Capstone, I'll show you how.
I've also been asked to provide some titles we'd like to see on Capstone. If you have suggestions, let me know.
