Oil Spills
The 2 main issues of oil spills are that it kills most animals, and ruins part of the ocean and we need to clean it.It kills much fish which is a resource of food.it changes the weather conditions.it makes a loss of home/habitatBut when it happens people tend to try to clean up the spill and clean animals,we should help by cleaning the oil spills and making ships more protective and safe.we should prevent the spills from happening .Spills beebn happening since 1967.my idea might no work but its something..what causes spills is tankers barges pipeline drilling rigs and storing falsaulties,a lot of oil leaks are by the gulf of mexico, the regions mostly affected are the south ,because that's where transportation of products are
Gwell The Gulf of mexico is effected by oil spills, and is league city by jobs ,and ecenamacal loss, and the animals get stuck in oil and poisons the animals, mostly aqautic and land types like seagulls ducks , otters and other animals,it is caused by collision of ships,crashinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hh6QGXhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hh6QGXoLhcoLhc
This is what the ocean looked after the oil spill
In gulf another duck oiled and killed by the oil contamination
Chemical spills occur at a much lower frequency then spills of oil. However the consequence of an oil spill can be more wide reaching than that of oil and there growing internatural awareness of the need for safe and effective contingency arrangements for chemical spills
The wide variety of chemicals transported, there varying physicaland chemical properties, the different ways in which they behave in the environment and the potential for effects on human health mean that responds to chemical spills is not straightforward as oil-www.itopf.com
HiEPA's oil spill prevention program includes the spill prevention, control, and courtmeasure, and faucalty responds plan rules .the spcc rule hell faucaulties prevent a discharge of oil into navigable waters adjoining shorelines.the FRP rules required certain faucalties to submit a response plan and prepare to respond to a worse case oil discharge or threat of discharge.-www.epa.gov
