Hello Terry Redlin Families,
South Dakota Assessments will begin at the end of March for students in grades 3-5 for Reading and Math. 5th grade will also take a Science assessment. Make sure that your child gets plenty of rest and a good breakfast during the testing window. It will be great to see how students can show what they have learned. COVID precautions reminders: Daily Screening, Stay home if you are sick, Mask Up, and stay distant. COVID-19 vaccinations are becoming readily available in the upcoming months. Parents/Guardians, make sure to reach out to your doctor to find out when the vaccine may be available to you.

2021-22 Kindergarten Registration
STEP 1: Please go to Terry Redlin's Kindergarten List and enter your child’s information. This puts your child on our list of incoming kindergartners.
STEP 2: Complete the Sioux Falls School District's (SFSD) online registration. There are two online registration options. The first option is for new families that do not have any children in the SFSD. The second option is for current families that already have a child in school. Please use the correct online registration or your child's registration may be delayed.
- New families link: New Families
- Current families link: Current Families (Please do not update any of your other student(s) information. You will update their information at a later time.)
STEP 3: Below are the required documents that we must have before your child can start school. You can email (photo, scan, etc.) the documents to wendy.anstine@k12.sd.us. You can also fax the documents to 605-367-6065
- Address Verification: The SFSD requires verification of your address. Your student’s online registration will be on hold until proof of address is received. We encourage you to provide verification - sooner rather than later - so it does not prolong your student’s enrollment. The address verification must be in your (parent/guardian) name, and it must be current. Acceptable documents are:
- Utility bill
- Rental property lease/contract or payment receipts
- Property tax payment or receipts
- State/Government agency mail
- Mortgage document
- Homeowner’s insurance policy
- Birth Certificate
- Immunizations
If you have any questions, please call the Terry Redlin office at 605-367-6140. Thank you!
