April 4, 2016
To Do:
#1. Complete the Motivation quiz as practice.
#2. Complete the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs assignment. Use what you learned in the lesson to support your thoughts and answers.
#3. Sometimes we need more time on certain topics. The Take Two section is optional but is a great form of review if you struggled with any concepts from the lesson. Use this section to refresh and relearn the material.
Lesson 1: Introduction to Motivation
This lesson will begin our study of different theories or explanations as to why we decide to do something. Have you ever wondered why you decide to get homework done and not procrastinate while your best friend is not so driven? What motivates us to do things? Many students don't want to go to school yet here you are reading my announcement. Some are extrinsically motives by grades, money or rewards while us are intrinsically motivated by praise. Be sure to understand the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic reward.
Module 9
Module 9 is due on April 11th. If you are using the grace period for 8, then you will need to schedule extra time to get on pace.
