WAVA Families and Students
Welcome to the month of April at WAVA. We celebrate Spring as we are jumping into April! We have Spring Testing, activities and opportunities to connect with others each week! We have our Spring Break coming up and we hope you and your family enjoy some time off! This month our 7 Mindset is 'Attitude is Gratitude'. This mindset helps us to use the power of our attitude and change our mindset to be thankful, appreciative, and grateful. Our team of WAVA Counselors for grades K-12 have opportunities each month on the class connect schedule to share with students about our 7 Mindsets and Social and Emotional Learning. WAVA Staff Spotlight: Ms. Ronda Sol, WAVA 5th Grade Teacher
This is my 25th year of teaching and my 16th year with WAVA. If you can't tell, I love my job! I'm so lucky to spend my days with awesomely talented 5th graders! When I'm not working, I enjoy watching baseball games, going on adventures with my family, photography, creating teaching resources, and reading middle grade literature. You will always find me with a chapter book in my hand and an audiobook on my headset. I also love to travel and I'm happiest when I'm on the beach. My favorite places to visit are Hawaii, Portugal, and my hometown of Livermore, California!
