Presenters: Aimee Raber and Tammie Rabbitt; Armstrong Reading Council
Tammie Rabbitt graduated from Clarion University with a B.S. in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. She also has a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the George Washington University and has a second master’s equivalency and Reading Specialist papers from Slippery Rock University. This is Tammie’s 17th year teaching. She has taught preschool/head start, Kindergarten, first grade, special education, Class-size Reduction teacher with a focus on reading support, piloted extended day Kindergarten and now is a reading specialist for the Freeport Area School District as well as a part-time instructor for PLS 3rd Learning through Wilkes University.
Aimee Raber graduated in 1991 from IUP, with my B.S. in Early childhood education, and received her Masters in Education from IUP. Aimee taught preschool and Kindergarten in Rochester, New York for 3 years, and has been teaching in the Freeport Area School District for 15 years. She has been teaching full-day kindergarten for 10 years and LOVES IT !!!!!!!
