Message From Your Leadership Team
Safety of our students is always our number one priority. Arrival and dismissal continue to be the times in which we have the most concerns and we are asking for your assistance.
Students may be dropped off no earlier than 7:45am. Pull up as far as possible along the sidewalk and “drop and go” so we can keep the traffic flow moving. We will have someone at the cross-walk to assist children in getting from cars in to school safely. If dropping off after 8:00, please park in the parking lot and walk your student into the main office to sign him/her in for the day. There is NO parking allowed in the student drop off area between 7:30-8:15am.
In order for us to make sure that students are going to the dismissal location in which parents/guardians have arranged, PLEASE communicate with us in advance if there is a change (this includes changes for clubs, activity period and WonderCare). Any change made after noon on the day of the change MUST be called in to the main office (671-3190). Please send in a note to school with your child so we can plan accordingly or email your child’s classroom teacher as well as Peg (peg_weidmann@webstercsd.org) and Jay (jay_gargana@webstercsd.org) in the main office at least one day in advance. Parent pick-up is at 2:09 and you will need a photo ID at the time of pick up.
Thank you, in advance, for following these procedures in turn helping us to keep your child(ren) safe.
Warm Regards,
Jen Sullivan (Principal) and Jill Doyle (Assistant Principal)

Artist in Residence, Mark Rust
We are very excited to announce that our artist in residence, Mark Rust, will be joining us in music class next week. We first met Mark last December when he performed his multicultural holiday program for the school. This year he will be working with all students, K-5th Grade, in their regular music classes to learn about and play Appalachian instruments. Make sure you ask your children about the mountain and hammered dulcimer, banjo, limberjack, and spoons (to name a few)!
Native American Heritage Month
Since 1990 November has been recognized as is Native American Heritage Month, also referred to as American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month, in the United States. The purpose of the month is to honor and celebrate the important contributions of Native people. Students will be learning about Native people throughout the month and sharing what they learn with each other.
