Respect for 3-6 (En Espanol)

Family PurposeFull Pursuit: A Recipe for Respect

To show Respect for diversity and to celebrate other cultures and their customs, research a traditional recipe for your family to try from your own culture or from another culture that you know exists in your community. Make that dish and share with your family about its background and its significance.

On December 30, 2021, CDPH updated its guidance and reduced the isolation requirement for individuals that have tested positive for COVID-19 to five days if symptoms have resolved and they test negative on day five. Similarly, quarantine due to exposure to a positive case has been reduced to five days with a negative test. Additionally, all adults and students will continue to wear face coverings when indoors on all school campuses, regardless of their vaccination status.

Also, the results of At-Home Tests (Rapid Antigen tests recommended) may be utilized to clear persons to return to school in the updated scenarios above. RUSD required the submittance of an At-Home Test Validation Form and along with a photo of the result.

Chromebook Update

Those of you who filled out the form to receive a Chromebook through the RUSD Emergency Connectivity Fund should be receiving their new device around Thanksgiving. We have over 150 students taking advantage of this opportunity! Stay tuned for more details....

And it is still not too late....our District was awarded another grant and we are able to offer many more to students who need them. (This program is not income based, students and families are eligible based on their need for connectivity.)

If you checked one out for your student(s) last year, and you have not yet applied, you should complete this form today to see if you qualify! We encourage all families to apply for this program.
