Here is the webpage to submit e-Cards and an example of what the email will look like when it gets delivered to your inbox. Additionally, there will be a PDF attached the email should you want to save or print the message. These are not spam emails, so feel free to click and open the attachments.
OAK RIDGE VS POWELL
1958 WILDCAT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME!
READ ABOUT THIS HISTORIC WILDCAT TEAM!
The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame announced today that the 1958 Oak Ridge High School football team will be honored with the David Williams Historical Achievement award at their annual induction ceremony in Nashville on July 22, 2023. The 1958 Team will be the first Tennessee high school football team to be honored for an historical achievement.
The selection of Oak Ridge for the David Williams Historical Achievement Award is of further significance since there is only one honoree selected in this category each year, Oak Ridge was in competition with every team, coach, and individual from every era with a Tennessee connection who has ever accomplished anything of historical significance. This includes at the high school, college, amateur and professional levels of every sport. There are literally thousands of possible (and deserving) candidates each year competing to be the single chosen selectee for the award.
