Burris Student Advisory Council - Representatives & Alternates

Student Advisory Lunch Meetings will be on Thursday, April 8, 2021.

Grade 5: 11:05-11:35 AM

Farmer To Families Food Distribution - Friday, April 2, 2021

There will be another Farmers to Families Food Box distribution in Lawrence County this Friday, April 2nd from 2-4 at the Solutions Center in Mitchell. Over 1000 boxes will be distributed. This is the last time we will receive a shipment this large, though we do expect shipments of over 500 boxes to be distributed every Friday through Friday, April 23rd. We will have plenty of boxes for those that attend. We do not check for need or residency and it is a contactless distribution.

Parent Cafe' - Trauma Informed Parenting

Trauma Informed Parenting

April is Prevent Child Abuse month, and to honor that the Parent Cafe` theme will be Trauma Informed Parenting. We will be discussing how our own trauma history impacts the way we parent and how we can support children who have experienced trauma.
