Updates from the Midland school community
Updates from Mrs. Breeding
Second Quarter is well underway and we are all working hard on our goals as a school. Our three school improvement goals are focused on improving math instruction, social and emotional wellness for our students and families, and reading instruction and interventions for all students. If you have questions about these goals, please come see me!
Second Cup is a great way to get involved at Midland. Once a month, I host a coffee in the morning to talk about some of the work we are involved in at the school. Anyone is welcome. Our topics change from month to month and we are always open to suggestions for topics!

Day of the Dead Celebration!
Day of the Dead (Dia los Muertos) was celebrated in October. Students learned about this Mexican holiday during Spanish class.
Each month, we celebrate students who are reaching their goals, demonstrating traits from the IB Learner Profile and following their Social Contract.
ESP Staff at Midland!
We celebrated Educational Support Personnel day at Midland in October. We have an amazing ESP staff who help to support our students at Midland.
