Westside Soccer 2022
We are so EXCITED to get the season started and could use a little help from our fellow westside students! The JV and Varsity boys soccer teams are looking for ball boys and girls, grades 4th and up to shag balls at each of our HOME JV and Varsity games. We would like 2-4 volunteers at each game. Grab a friend and let’s start shagging balls!
BONUS
Free admission, T-shirt and hot dog for each volunteer! Plus, you will get to meet the players and coaches!

PBIS - Looking for Donations!
In Westside Community Schools, we use a framework called Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, or PBIS, to promote positive behaviors throughout our schools. At WMS, we have a "Warrior Buck Store", where students can trade in tickets for rewards. In efforts to "up the ante" and offer more than the usual candy and pop, we are excited to introduce raffle items! This is where you come in...
We are looking for donations of Westside gear, IPad pencil cases, water bottles, gift cards, or anything else that would suit a raffle for our middle school students. Cash or check donations are always awesome, too; we can purchase items we know students will love! Please drop any donations at the front office or you can
We will also be raffling the opportunities to win competitions with teachers or teams during pep rallies, and opportunities to win spirit days for the whole team! There's a lot of fun to be had at Westside Middle School celebrating amazing positive behaviors from amazing students!

Registration for Westside High School classes
The middle school counselors will then be meeting individually with their assigned students to go over their course requests for high school. This process will go through approximately mid to late February. The high school counselors will come to the middle school on Friday, February 25 to meet with 8th grade students to finalize student course requests.
We encourage you (parents/guardians) to please have your student login to the scheduler and go over their course requests with them. The scheduler is located at https://westsideweb.azurewebsites.net/account/login. You can see student course requests by clicking “Cart” on the top menu bar.
You can access the WHS Course Planning Guide here. Information about all of the courses offered at the high school is available in the course planning guide.High school counselors gave a brief overview of the high school on Monday, January 10. Topics discussed included high school terminology, an example of modular scheduling, and some information about clubs. You can access the PowerPoint here.
