This Week At Coolidge
Coolidge Elementary
Every student. Every day.
Mission Statement: To educate, challenge and inspire every student to achieve personal success and become a confident contributor to society
Vision Statement: We promote a passion for learning and a philosophy that puts the needs of children and their education first.
The Coolidge teachers and staff continue to miss your children and continue to desire for things to be back to normal. I know that many of them are reaching out through email to offer support, suggestions, and positive affirmations. Please remember that during these trying times, the health and safety of families is a priority. All enrichment and resources are optional.
Stay Connected
If you are looking for a way to stay connected to our amazing Coolidge family please join us on Twitter @CoolidgeCougars. Many of our staff and students are posting what they have been up to since school has been closed. Please keep in touch.
Weekly Enrichment Grade Level Opportunities
Teachers will be sending home additional enrichment opportunities every Friday (with the exception of Spring Break). These optional enrichment opportunities contain no new learning, but rather skills your child has already been taught. There is no work to turn in, just to complete at your leisure the following week. Please see below for grade level enrichment opportunities.
Message From The Media Center
Hi Coolidge families! Don’t forget to check out the “Library” tab on the Coolidge website. It is full of fun educational websites. I also just added a second page called “Additional Resources”. On this page, you will find information about databases that are currently open to the public.
In addition, I have included a link to a flyer that offers a free subscription for families to Age of Learning. If you are interested, It includes ABC Mouse, Adventure Academy and ReadingIQ.
Looking forward to seeing everyone soon! Happy reading! -Mrs. Nelson
i-Ready Lessons
iReady provides math and reading lessons at your child's individual level. This is a great resource for students. If you have trouble logging on or your child does not know his or her password, please contact your child's teacher.
Report Cards Are Now Viewable
Report cards are now viewable on Parent Connect. When you log into Parent Portal click on Report Cards-Student Documents and select the appropriately named file. It will open as a normal report card in pdf format. In addition, if you are used to receiving progress reports those should already have been emailed to you.
