MHHS Advisory Nights: September 9-12, 2019

The Advisory Classes at MHHS invite the parents, guardians and students to the first annual Back to School Night at MHHS. During this event, please come and meet with your student's advisory teacher, learn about the changes to the Senior Projects, visit with Mr. Fairchild and familiarize yourself with the expectations at MHHS and Federal Programs.

  • Monday, September 9, 2019, Juniors and Junior Advisors will host the Back to School Night and serve banana splits. Please join us at MHHS if your student is a Junior. The event is scheduled from 5:00-6:00 PM.
  • Tuesday, September 10, 2016, Seniors and Senior Advisors will host the Back to School Night and sever root beer floats. Please join us at MHHS if your student is a Senior. The event is scheduled from 5:00-6:00 PM.
  • Thursday, September 12, 2019, Sophomores and Freshmen will host the Back to School Night and serve Root Beer Floats. Please join us at MHHS if your student is a Sophomore or a Freshman. The event is scheduled from 5:00-6:00 PM.

Quarter 1 SLTC" September 18, 2019

Please come and review your student's progress at the first Student Led Teacher Conference on September 18, 2019, from 3:00-6:30 PM.

We look forward to seeing all parents, guardians and students at this event. Remember, each student must have a parent or guardian attend at least three of the four Student Led Teacher Conferences a year to receive the advisory credit. Also, students must wear their uniform to the conference! Be proud Phoenix! RISE!

Community Connections

Humanitarian Center Connects with MHHS

The Humanitarian Center in Rupert, Idaho, is paring with MHHS as a community outreach. MHHS will mirror and support the projects sponsored by the Humanitarian Center to better assist the Mini-Cassia area. The initial point of contact is September 25, 2019. Project adopted by MHHS will be reflected in the coming months through MHHS service projects! More to come as students and staff participate in community improvement. The Humanitarian Staff is pictured below!

Idaho Potatoes Anyone? September 28, 2019

MHHS is proud to reach out to the community with a special service project. The students at MHHS will glean potatoes from Miller Research Farms. If you need potatoes for the winter, please allow MHHS students the opportunity to glean these tubers for you and present them to you. We will even carry them to your car. This event is scheduled for September 28, 2019, and is located at Miller Research Farms at 426 E 200 N, Rupert, ID 83350.

There is absolutely no cost for this service and MHHS thanks Miller Research Farms for this service to the Mini-Cassia Community.

Potato Palooza! October 1, 2019

Come and enjoy an Idaho Baked potato with the MHHS Family! This event is special because it allows students to gain service hours not only through helping with the service and the clean up, but also with provision of the toppings for the potatoes!

Each donation by a students equals ONE (1) service hour. Students are encouraged to donate any ONE of the following items:

  • Sealed bag of shredded cheese
  • Sealed box of butter
  • Sealed carton of sour cream
  • Sealed can of chili
  • Sealed bag of bacon bits
  • Sealed dried chives

MHHS will also have potatoes for families and community members on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Please come by between 5:00-6:30 PM to participate in the potato palooza and pick up your bag of potatoes the coming winter!
