Navigating the New

The understatement of the year has been that things are changing.....again. As the weather gets cooler and the novelty of school reopening wanes, the need for behavior intervention support is ever increasing. Butte's school year started off with online learning. Parents honorably held the responsibility of academic engagement from the home - a space which typically is reserved for leisure activities and family gatherings. School staff came back after summer break showing resiliency in their response to the changing instructional modalities and the learning curve which came with it. Students are again bouncing back from experiencing a shift in their routines, schedules, and expectations. I truly commend you all and hope that these Bits have been helpful to meeting a need that has emerged during these historic times. Keep on keeping on, you all are doing AMAZING.
