BEST at West...Be respectful, Engage in learning, Show integrity, Take responsibility
End of the School Year
On June 2 and 3, we will be running a block schedule (see below) for students who are in danger of failing the semester. Class periods will be 80 minutes long, and will provide students with one last opportunity to demonstrate their learning in an effort to earn a passing grade.
Busses will run on their normal schedule, and the cafeteria will be open all day for students who come to school, but are not required to be in a particular class period. Students in the building will need to be in either their assigned classroom or the cafeteria.

Chromebook/Textbook Turn In
Senior Corner
Parade of Graduates will be Friday, May 27th at 10:00am. Graduates wear their caps and gowns and visit their elementary school.
Practice for the Commencement Ceremony will be 9:00am on June 3rd at the Mayo Event Center. All graduates need to attend practice to participate in the ceremony.
Graduation is Friday, June 3rd at 8:00 at the Mayo Event Center. This year, graduates are not limited to a specific number of guests. We will have room for anyone who wants to attend the ceremony. Because East has their ceremony before ours, please do not arrive at the Event Center before 7:15pm.
Senior Lunch Account Information
Parents have three options for handling any remaining lunch balance after graduation:
Transfer balance to a younger sibling in your household.
Request a refund check, only if the balance is $5.00 or more.
Donate the balance to the Angel Fund.
Requests can be submitted by clicking on this link: https://forms.gle/hyGt8yaFePXdNvJy6
Please make sure to end any automatic payments in Infinite Campus before requesting a refund.
If your student has a negative lunch balance, we encourage you to pay off that balance prior to graduation.
Any questions can be directed to Nutrition Services at 507-388-7442 or nutritionservice@isd77.org
Next Year - Early Release rather than Late Start
Next year, rather than a monthly late start day, we will have a monthly early release. Students will be dismissed one Wednesday a month at 1:35 and buses will transport students at this time. School staff will provide supervision for children whose families need supervision until they pick up their student(s) at 3:35 or before their student(s) attend co-curriculars. Co-curricular practices for high school activities will follow their typical Wednesday schedule.
PLC meetings will begin after 1:35 and run until 3:35.
Surveys to Help Plan for Next Year
The first survey is for students to express their interest in activities and clubs. Student Activities and Clubs
The second survey is about school breakfast, 2nd Chance Breakfast, and school lunch. https://forms.gle/XmcZXdgPARXJRsQy5
