The "New Deal" was a series of economic programs to solve the problems of the Great Depression started by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Characteristics
When Roosevelt started the New Deal, he had to use all of his power to get rid of the Great Depression. The basics of the New Deal were the three R's (Relief, recovery, and reform).
