Please read about our committees. You will vote for which one you'd like to be placed in during the picnic.
Service Committee
Hello! I'm so excited to be Service Committee Chair! I'm really looking forward to having a great year. Some of our events for the year include a joint holiday event with social committee, canned food and clothing drives, and teacher appreciation week! I hope to make an impact on the community through this committee and through OCMEA.
Here's to an awesome year!

Social Committee
This committee plans events that are sponsored by OCMEA. These events often strengthen relationships inside and outside of the Conservatory, often including service and charity events.

Masterclass Committee
Hello everyone! My name is Joe Fudale and I am the chair of the Masterclass Committee for our chapter of OCMEA here at BW. In a nutshell, my committee is responsible for planning and "orchestrating" (pun intended) our general meetings for OCMEA, as we bring in guest speakers and professionals within our field to talk about certain topics that we might not get to cover in class. Throughout the year, my committee and I will brainstorm masterclass ideas and contact guest speakers to come lecture. If you feel like you have some great ideas, know of some professional local contacts within the area, or just want to be involved with furthering our experiences as music educators, please feel free to ask me more about being involved with the Masterclass Committee!

Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising committee is responsible for raising the money to compensate for OCMEA expenses such as the conference hotels and OCMEA banquet each spring. To do this, we organize several out-to-eat fundraisers and apparel sales throughout the academic year. Members of the committee are expected to help plan and run any events or sales that the committee takes on.
