PSAT/SAT Information Night
- Wednesday, October 24th from 6-7 at the James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center in the Dorman Room.
- Learn about the PSAT and SAT suite of assessments, how to interpret scores, and how to access free resources available to students.
Seniors
College and Career Center
There will be colleges visiting LHS in the College and Career Center.
- Tuesday: Navy Recruiter during one lunch
- Wednesday: Practice ASVAB during one lunch and University of South Carolina during B lunch
- Thursday: Christoper Newport University at 9:00am and UMBC during B lunch
The ASVAB will be given on November 9th and is open to juniors and seniors. Please see Mrs. Hazlegrove in the career center to sign up.

Application process begins Sept 25, 2018
Minimun Requirements are:
- 3.50 cumulative weighted GPA
- 50 service hours
- 4 leadership credits
- Clean discipline record

Information sessions- Tuesday October 16th and 23rd in room 2F17
Applications are DUE on Monday October 29, 2018 by 3pm
Juniors
- Leonardtown High School will be administering the SAT to all 11th grade students this spring during the normal school day.
- The SAT will take place on Wednesday, March 27th during periods 1-5 at Leonardtown High School.
- There is no cost to students for this amazing opportunity and all 11th grade students are encouraged to participate.

Congratulations to the Raider Sailing Team!
- Leonardtown beat all of the other competing public schools, including perennial Raider sports foes Great Mills, Broadneck, Annapolis, South River, Severna Park, Yorktown, Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Walt Whitman, and Towson.
- They will go on to face 17 other teams from New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Maryland as they compete in the high school sailing Mid Atlantic Scholastic Sailing Association GOLD Fleet Race Championship in Hampton, Virginia, October 20, 21.
