What Is Happening In The Library?
A lot has been going on in the Library Media Center. Kindergarten students learned about books that won the Theodore Geisel Book Award. They have also been learning about space through fiction and nonfiction books. First grade just finished up learning about nursery rhymes. They will be now learning about owls using fiction and nonfiction books. Over the past few months second grade has been learning about fables, folktales, and myths. They will now be learning about how illustrations help to tell a story. Third grade is learning about the different types of fiction genres. Fourth grade has been learning about the different genres found in nonfiction. They will now be introduced to website evaluation.
The Library Media Center’s website has a wealth of information. All students have access to Destiny Discover https://wbb29197.follettshelf.com and MackinVia www.mackinvia.com ebooks and audiobooks. Your child’s username is his or her library card number, and the password is his or her last name. The guest log-in for both websites is koenig and the password is library.
