From the Principal
Dear Parents,
Thank you for all your support with GLO. Final numbers are looking encouraging as we are currently sitting at a total collection of $98,568.96. We hope you will be able to join us next Friday for our GLO celebration day. Please reach out to your homeroom teacher if you have specific questions. This will be similar to Field Day, where our students participate in activities for half of the school day. We cannot wait!
I want to truly thank our whole Milton community. Each morning we are blessed with special guests from our feeder schools who help pump our students up. It is so exciting to see our Colts returning to campus to assist us. Kids from Milton and Northwestern have been very active in the fundraising process. We appreciate them and their coaches/group leaders for waking up early and coming to school with so much spirit.
Candice Selby and Jennifer Fratesi are now pros at leading GLO FOR IT! I realize they have a team behind the scenes, and it truly takes a village to pull off this huge undertaking. So, shout out to all of the volunteers who make our fundraiser so successful. Again, we will see you next Friday!
DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP AT CCES
Crabapple Crossing Elementary School is in the process of becoming a Common Sense Media Certified School for the 2017-2018 school year!
Our students have been receiving lessons designed by Common Sense Media on Digital Citizenship. Students are learning to be good Digital Citizens and stay safe on the internet. Our goal is to give our CCES Colts the digital education needed to begin developing positive and responsible digital footprints. In addition to being a vital resource to educators in this digital age, Common Sense Media is also a great resource for parents to use as they guide their children through these formative years.
Be sure to check out the Common Sense Media website:
