Europe at War

On September 1st, 1939 Hitler invades Poland and conquers it in 4 weeks. The Germans used a new form of fighting called Blitzkrieg or Lightning War which uses overwhelming force to crush its enemy. After the invasion of Poland, Britain and France declare war and WWII had begun.

Hitler has taken control of Europe and Britian asks the U.S. for help, but the U.S. has a strict policy of isolationism and did not want to get involved. Hitler plans on invading and unleashes the Luftwaffe. They bombed England day and night for 10 months.

Attack on the soviet union

In July 1940, just weeks after the German conquest of France and the Low Countries, Hitler decided to attack the Soviet Union within the following year. On December 18, 1940, he signed the Directive 21, which is the first operational order for the invasion of the Soviet Union.

Japan at War

On December 7th, 1941 Japan launches a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor Hawaii. Japan quickly conquers many islands and thought their attack on the U.S. Fleet would destroy the U.S. Navy.
