Digital Learning Day - March 9th
Dear Parents,
We are excited to give our students another option for learning as we embark on Digital Learning Day. Below are activity pages for each grade level. Once you choose your child’s grade level activity board, they can follow along with the digital and/or hands-on activities carefully planned for them by our teachers. If the directions call for Launchpad or any other online site the grade level document is linked to take your child right to the site. We have also contacted the Milton Library and on Friday they will have a place where your students can work if they don’t have access to a device or internet at home.
All activities are due on March 14th but are available right away if your child wants to start early.
Please use the link provided below. We look forward to seeing all the great work your students complete during Digital Learning Day!
SGC Elections #SharedGoverance
It is SGC elections season. Elections will take place March 19th- March 23rd for parent/guardian representatives and teacher representatives. Each candidate has prepared a statement introducing him/herself and explaining why s/he wants to serve on the Council. As you prepare to cast your vote, please visit our school website to learn more about the candidates so that you can make an informed decision about your Council representatives. Hard copies of the candidate statements are available in the main office for your viewing as well. Each parent will receive an email with a unique link allowing you to vote in this year’s election.

B.E.A.R. (Be Excited About Reading) Fair
Attention Parents, The Media Program Needs Your Support!
The Media staff is pleased to present a Magazine Program fundraiser to our community! It will begin Wednesday, March 14th. This is an important fund raiser for our school Media Center because we retain 40% of every magazine subscription dollar received through this program. With these funds, we will fund various literature sets. The B.E.A.R Fair is a safe program. There are no door-to-door sales. It is just for your family to renew or subscribe to magazines that you wish to have. This fundraiser will end on March 23rd.
Thank you for your support,
Mrs. Howard

SHE Student Newspaper
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Over the past couple of months, the students of our Husky Newspaper Crew have been working hard after school to prepare stories, poems, articles, and interviews to put together a student version of the Hilltop Happenings. Students choose their own topics, edit, and design their newspaper. We are hoping that this is the beginning of a monthly release of our student edition of the school news.
Please click the link below and take time to check out our February edition!
