Late Arrival Reminder
Thursday, September 14, is the first of four late arrival days for D103 students during the 2023-2024 school year. Other scheduled late arrival days are on:
Thursday, October 19
Thursday, March 14
Monday, April 22
Late arrival days allow our teachers and staff extended time to collaborate on instructional planning and professional development to improve student learning.
Students start school 90 minutes later than their normal start time, which means buses will arrive 90 minutes later than their typical arrival time. Early childhood students do not attend school on late arrival days.

Sprague School
Sprague School starts at 9:45 a.m.
Please do not drop students off at school before 9:30 a.m.
Early Childhood students do not attend school on Late Arrival Days
Half Day School
School starts at 10:30 a.m.
Please do not drop students off at school before 10:10 a.m.
Daniel Wright Junior High School
School starts at 10:00 a.m.
Please do not drop students off at school before 9:35 a.m.

Board of Education Meeting
The next Board of Education meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12. The notice and agenda can be found on the District 103 Board meeting website page. D103 board meetings will be live-streamed each month on our YouTube Channel. Members of the community should attend the meeting at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire if they would like to make a public comment. The public can also contact the Board at board@d103.org.

Surprise your student with their name engraved in a Learning Fund Foundation brick placed along the Daniel Wright pathway at the school's entrance. Donations to the Learning Fund Foundation are tax deductible.
PTO: The Power of Play - How Play Can Help Children Learn Lessons for Life
In this virtual presentation, parents will hear from Dr. Rebecca Isbell, an internationally renowned educator & speaker on how play can be utilized to help advance learning for children. We will also be joined by Ms. Ann Hofmeier, principal at Sprague School, who will reflect on how teachers at Sprague use play daily to promote educational concepts in their classrooms.
