Beckett
Student, Therapy Dog, & Friend
Who is Beckett?
Beckett is a German Shorthair Pointer. This means that he is a working dog. But just like people, he has to go to school, work hard, play harder, and learn all the things he needs to know to be successful. When he grows up, Beckett wants to be a therapy dog and come to school to help teach kids how to be kind, be responsible, and achieve their goals. This is Beckett's page where he will share his experiences as he learns how to be a therapy dog.

When will Beckett come to school?
From Beckett's mom (School Counselor, Colleen Keiser): I am very lucky to work at a wonderful school in Houston, TX called Yeager Elementary. Right now Beckett is still a baby and has lots of work ahead of him, just like the students at school do. He may come to visit a few times during the year to see & smell the surroundings, and meet new friends, but he won't be ready to work at school until he is at least a year old and passes some of his special tests. In the meantime, Beckett will share his experiences with everyone this year through his webpage.

Me and my Mom
My mom is Ms. Keiser - she is the school counselor at Yeager. She loves me very much and I love her.
Learning
It's hard because I love to play, but I am learning to lie quietly in my kennel while mom works.
A new family
Once I was 8 weeks old, it was time for me to meet my new family. This is me meeting my new big brother Bogey.
