College Financial Aid Deadline March 2nd

If your senior student has not yet applied for financial aid the deadline is tomorrow March 2nd. Please assist your student filling out their financial aid application.

FAFSA (for residents and citizens of CA) or the Dream Act (undocumented, AB540)

We are hosting a “Crab & Go” fundraiser on Friday March 5, 2021. Order your dinner ahead of time, have a contactless pick up and enjoy a delicious dinner at home with your family! No need to find a babysitter this year!

Tutorial Day 3/03

This Wednesday, 3/3, is Tutorial Day. This is an opportunity for students to submit unfinished work from 2/22 to 3/3. All make-up work is due @ 11:59pm on 3/3.

The schedule is as follows:

8:45-9:45am Electives

10:00-10:15 Advisory Check In

10:15-11:15am Tutorial class 1

11:15-12:15am Tutorial class 2

1-2pm Afternoon Electives

Please remind your student to use this time appropriately and take advantage of the opportunity being offered to them.

Early Dismissal: Friday March 5th

On Friday, March 5th students will have early dismissed at 12pm

Supporting Student Behavior at Home

On Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 10-12pm the Sacramento County SELPA and CAC are hosting a virtual parent training on:

"Supporting Student Behavior at Home During Distance Learning: A Training for Parents & Families"

Senior Send Off GoFundMe

The Class of 2021 never envisioned their senior year to take place online. We have worked so hard to connect with them and continue to make our community feel whole. We want to do something for them that is tangible, thoughtful and something they can take with them to remember their teachers and faculty.

ELPAC Testing

Starting March 8th, students considered English Language Learners will be participating in the annual ELPAC testing. This is a series of exams to assess their levels in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Comprehension.

Mr. Mendez will be emailing more information on when your student will be tested. It is important that on the days of testing your student is well rested and has a good breakfast.

Office Hours

Starting 2/9 our office will be open from 8:30 am through 4:30 pm closed for lunch 12pm - 1pm. We ask that you continue to call the office 510-370-3334 prior to arriving on campus to ensure availability to meet.
