Washington Family Update
January 2022
A Principal's Perspective- Ms. McLarty
Hello Washington Families!
Our second semester has started off great. Our staff was excited to see students return and have worked hard to provide a safe and caring learning environment. Our teachers meet with students every morning in a "Morning Meeting". During that dedicated time, teachers teach a short lesson with our ROAR expectations, our Choose Love lessons, and students can share what is important to them.
Our ROAR expectations are to be
R- Respectful and Kind
O- Organized and On task
A- Always Safe
R- Reaching our Potential
Take a moment this weekend to ask your student what the ROAR expectations mean to them.
Our ROAR expectations help create a safe and positive learning environment for ALL of our students. Having a safe and positive learning environment allows all student to help achieve their academic goals.
