Why you should catch up on your zzzz
You should get atleast 8 hours sleep a night
5 reasons why not getting enough sleep is bad for you:
- It gives you cravings for sugar
- It gives you back ache, tummy ache and headches.
- It gives signals to your body to put on fat
- Harder to concentrate in class
- You make bad decisions
Falling asleep while studying...
Tired teenagers got much lower grades on a test, than ones who got 8+ hours sleep the night before it.
Sleeping in the daytime...
You will feel very tired and start to nap in the afternoons, stopping you socialising, doing homework and having family time.
Napping in lessons...
You will be so tired that you may even sleep in lessons. This will result in missed work, opportunities and a LOT of trouble.

Come to The National Sleep Centre in Cheltenham on 30th March for a fun filled day of....sleeping! Yes, you can just sleep all day! Refreshments will be served - If you can wake up enough! 9:00am - 9:00pm all ages welcome. Don't forget your pillow!
