Continuous School Improvement
Monitoring student growth and achievement is an ongoing process at Hannah Beardsley. Next week our BLT (Building Leadership Team) will be analyzing the beginning of year Fastbridge Assessment data to determine what is working well to support our students and where we need to focus attention to improve. We will be implementing a system called MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) for all students. Tier 1 supports are designed for all students and include differentiation in each classroom and content area. Tier 2 supports include some specialized supports provided by classroom teachers, support personnel, and interventionists. Parents are notified when students are identified as needing skill support in Tier 2. The Tier 3 supports are targeted and intensified for students needing this level of intervention. Parents are also notified when their students are receiving this level of intervention. We will begin our first round of interventions in XLT classes starting on October 5th. If you have questions about the MTSS process, please contact Mrs. Alberth.

If students do not have work and are being disruptive, they will be asked to leave. Homework Club is sponsored by different teachers throughout the week and they are available to help students if questions arise.
