Hello Bobcat Families! We hope everyone has a safe and restful long weekend. As a reminder, there is no school on Monday. Thank you to all of our service members who we honor each Memorial Day!
Summer School
Families received invitations to summer school last Friday morning. If you have questions about summer school, please see the GPS Summer School website below:
https://www.greenwichschools.org/teaching-learning/summer-school.
If you have additional questions, please call Mrs. Michaelson or Mrs. Eisenstein.
Panorama Survey and Option for Student Opt Out
GPS will be administering year end surveys to parents, students and staff throughout the month of June. The survey will open next week. The surveys have been condensed, so that they can be completed within a matter of minutes. The survey email address is: support+greenwich@panoramaed.com, and the sender is: The Panorama Education Team. The subject line will be: 2020-2021 GPS Family Feedback Survey.
Surveys are one of the best ways to gather significant community input, all of which is completely anonymous, using an outside vendor; and therefore, we encourage everyone to participate.
Parents may choose to opt out their children (Grades 3-12) from participating in the survey by completing the online form in English or Spanish, no later than June 5, 2021.

Masks in Schools
As a reminder, the CT Department of Health, along with the CT State Department of Education clarified that “the current rule requiring universal mask wearing for all individuals in all school buildings will remain in place at this time.” However, students will not be required to wear masks outside during times such as recess. Masks are only required outdoors if students are stationary and in close proximity.
Covid Reminder
As a reminder, if someone in your home is symptomatic and awaiting results of a COVID-19 test, please keep your child at home until results are final. We understand that many families proactively test for work or other reasons, and this type of proactive testing for asymptomatic individuals does not require keeping your child at home.
Together in Safety and Learning,
