Principal's Message

Happy Easter Sunday!

We literally have 20 more instructional days (May 8th- last student assignment date) before we close out our school year. Indeed, this has not been the traditional year, but as a school community we have managed to continue providing a positive learning experience for our students during this tough time. In order to finish out the year in a Senator Strong way, we are working on ways to maintain and increase student engagement. We are thankful for the families that have reached out to share inspiring messages of teachers going above and beyond to connect with students as we know that a sense of belonging is essential in learning. So, as our skills in digital learning grows, we will continue to maintain some face to face connections with students through the use of digital tools such as Google Hangouts, Flipgrid, Recorded Videos, and other platforms.

Additionally, there has been questions about how we will celebrate students for grades and other school based earned incentives. We are working on that process with our leadership team. We will share our plans with you as they become available.

Join PCSSD for our District-wide Spirit Week. Please share information with your child! Instructions for participating is shared above. As stated above, small activities as shared above are positive ways for all of us to connect and bond during this difficult time.

Stay safe, enjoy the time with your families and connect with school administration for additional questions and supports.

No Credit Recovery Classes!

Credit Recovery will not be offered this quarter. Students need to work hard on finishing out the year in a STRONG way! For students in need of supports, we plan to provide an intervention class in place of an elective class during the 2020-2021 school year.
