Panther Post
December 4th - December 9th
Hello Lopez Families,
Last week Dr. Gottardy, Superintendent of Schools, hosted his yearly student luncheon. The purpose is to hear from the kids so they can share ideas and issues they face at school on a daily basis. I sent Kenzie Pfeiffer (pictured below) to represent us. Kenzie is a wonderful student here at Lopez, great in academics and involved in just about everything from sports to PALS. She is also one of the nicest people I have ever met. With all of the great kids here at Lopez, I thought she would be a perfect representative of our student body. Thank you for that Kenzie!
Have a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Mr. Wernli

Northeast ISD has partnered with E3 Alliance, Schoolhouse Pediatrics and Healthy Schools for the “KICK THE FLU” flu vaccination program. Parents may sign up for their children to receive Flu vaccinations while they are in school at no cost. Healthy Schools is scheduled to be at Lopez Middle School on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 8-10AM. If you would like your child to be vaccinated, please complete a Consent Form and return it to school clinic with your child. Consent Forms may be downloaded and printed from here: www.healthyschoolsllc.com/texas
Once you have completed and signed the Consent Form, please have your student return it to Nurse Meza. At the time of vaccination, a copy of the Notice of Privacy Practices along with a post-vaccination letter will be given to your student to bring home for your records.
There is NO out-of-pocket expense for you, and your student and entire family will be better protected against the flu this flu season.
