We Are Starting AT Nyah's House
We pack chips, juices, waters, pops, sandwich meat (ham), bagels, cream cheese, bread, and fruit that Nyah had at her house. We put the things that need to stay cold into a cooler full of ice.
Starting Point: 5269 Skyview Ln. taking a cab costing $20 to 355 West Dickman Rd where we'll rent a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Cost=$9.99/day weekend special plus tax.

Sojourner Truth grave: Battle Creek, MI
I will drive there in the car we rented from Enterprise. We will stop at a gas station and get gas for $10, since we estimate it'll be $4/gallon for the car which is a Toyota Prius Hybrid and can go 48-51 miles per gallon. We are only going 5.4 miles from Nyah's house to Sojourner Truth's grave. Therefore we'll have plenty of gas left. We will go get breakfast at McDonald's Nyah will get a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit for $2.99 while I will order the Sausage McGriddles for $2.69.
Her Significance - Sojourner Truth was a social reformer and was very important in American history. She was the first in winning a lawsuit against a white man. Sojourner Truth was a true speaker, for the fight for the woman's rights movement.
3rd Destination
Elizabeth Cady Stanton's grave: Battle Creek, MI
I will keep driving on that same tank of gas until we stop at Elizabeth's grave. Then we will go to Susan B. Anthony's in New York which Nyah will drive.
Stanton's Significance: Elizabeth Cady Stanton was an abolitionist, president of the Women's Suffrage Association, and a leading figure in the women's rights movement.

Susan B. Anthony: Rochester, NY
To get from Elizabeth Cady Stanton's grave to Susan B. Anthony's grave it'll be 391 miles. We will stop at a gas station to get gas, spending $20.
Susan B. Anthony's Significance: Anthony was partners with Elizabeth Cady Stanton, was also an abolitionist, a leading figure in the abolitionist and women's rights movement, writer, lecturer, and lead the National American Women's Suffrage Association. We will get souvenirs from both of the graves. On the way Nyah and I will eat some chips that we packed.
5th Destination
Gettysburg: Baltimore pike, PA
Raeanna drives to Pennysylvania. She slept the 391 miles I drove to Susan B. Anthony's grave from Stanton's grave, so she gained some energy to drive to Pennysylvania from New York which is where Susan B. Anthony's grave was. We stop at Brandywine River Hotel to get some rest which cost $107/night. For dinner that night we make ham sandwiches.

DAY 2
We will leave the Brandywine River Hotel Saturday Morning at 9:00. We'll stop to get gas spending $60 and every stop for gas, we'll refresh the ice in the cooler estimating $10 each time. That morning we'll eat bagels with cream cheese and water. I will then drive to Memphis, TN which is 996 miles away and would take 14 hours and 46 minutes to go. That's too much for me to drive, so I'll just drive 7 and a half hours and Raeanna will drive the rest of the way. On the way we'll eat and drink on the snacks we packed in the cooler. Once we arrive in Memphis which will be around midnight, we go spend the night at Raeanna's cousin's house at 53 Dacus Lake Rd until morning.
DAY 3
At 10:30am we head out to the museum it is Sunday, our last day for the $9.99 weekend special for our rental car, so now the price will go up.
Civil Rights Museum: Memphis, TN
Significance of Civil Rights Museum: It is the place marking Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination, and it has exhibits on the racial equal rights movement.
After we leave the museum we'll go to Wingate by Wyndham Cordova/Memphis hotel which is 21.7 miles and 27 minutes away. We'll arrive t the hotel at 7pm. The price of the hotel is $81/night. We'll get our rest and be ready to leave by 9:00am.
DAY 4
The car is now $29.99/day plus tax. In the morning, we get back on the road going to Cawker City, KS which is 764 miles, 11 hours, and 9 minutes away from the Wingate by Wyndham Cordova/Memphis hotel, the hotel we were previously staying in, but first we stop to get gas putting $60 in our tank at Shells gas station and grabbed dounuts which will cost us $1.50. We go eat breakfast at The Waffle House which is right down the street on N Germantown Pkwy. We eat a $20 meal. I will drive half way to the World's Largest Ball of Twine and Raeanna will drive the other half, but in between we stop at Subway on Keene-Eskridge Rd. off of highway 70, and we each eat a $5 foot long and drink some pop we brought with us in the cooler. Whenever we got hungry after that we just ate some fruit.
Significance of the World's Largest Ball of Twine: We get to see the World's largest ball of twine that people have added on to and taken care of. It is one of the eight wonders of Kansas.
After we're finished viewing the World's Largest Ball of Twine we'll go to Holiday Inn Express and Suites which is 82 miles, 1 hour, and 16 minutes away. I'll drive there. We'll spend the night there for $104.

DAY 5
Mount St. Helen: Skamania County, WA
We wake up around 8:00am, and we eat our donuts that we got from the Shell gas station. We will travel from Holiday Inn Express and Suites to Skamania County, WA which is 1,637 miles and 25 hours away. I will drive 6 hours then Raeanna will drive 6 hours. This will make us half way to Skamania County, WA. On the way we'll stop at a gas station putting $60 more in our tank. We will stop at Hampton Inn Tremonton off of highway 84 at 8:00pm to get some sleep. The Hampton Inn Tremonton cost $99/night. We will stop to get some food from Wendy's which is right across street (W Main St.) from the hotel. We estimate to spend $6 at Wendy's.
DAY 6
Once we wake up at 4:00am with eight hours of sleep I will drive 6 more hours and then Raeanna will drive the rest of the way to Skamania County, WA. We will arrive in Skamania County at 4:00pm with two hours to visit Mount St. Helen.
Significance of Mount St. Helen: It was one of the worst volcanic eruptions. Scientist were able to study it and learn about huge volcanic eruptions increasing their knowledge of volcanoes.
After we leave Mount St. Helen we'll go to Best Western Plus Parkersville Inn and Suites which is in Skamania County, WA and stop at the nearest gas station putting $50 in the tank. The price of the hotel room is $99/night. We'll sleep at that hotel and get ready for the next place to visit in the morning. So far altogether we've only spent $983.12 plus tax. We've spent $50 for ice, because we've stopped at a gas station five times estimating to spend $10 each time for ice. We've spent $43.18 on food, $260 for gas, $119.94 plus tax for the rental car, $490 on hotels, and $20 for the cab we took at the beginning of this trip. For the rest of the trip we have around $11,016.88 still left.
