Why is Following so important?
Following a college is the crucial first step in earning micro-scholarships. If you are Following a school, you'll be able to see what potential micro-scholarship dollars you'd earn based on the achievements on your Portfolio. Colleges have earning deadlines – Many colleges have November 1st of their senior year as the following deadline.
Examples of schools that EHS students commonly follow: University of St. Thomas, University of MN- Duluth, Gustavus Adolphus, University of Iowa, University of Wisconsin- Stout, Creighton University
Visit www.raiseme.com to create a portfolio and start following colleges.

Juniors: High School Page Program
The High School Page Program is a non-partisan educational program exclusively for students in their junior year. The program has two related components: serving and learning. Students serve as pages on the House floor, which is both a fun and formative introduction to public service. Away from the floor, students are actively learning about the legislative process, public policy, state government, and much more. It is a challenging and rewarding week.
All Minnesota high school juniors are eligible to apply for the program. Participants will be selected based upon their application, letter of recommendation, and essay. Applications must be submitted online or postmarked by the end of business day on November 18, 2022. Selected participants will be notified by the end of December.

Moms & Neighbors
Moms & Neighbors (M&N) began 13 years ago by a few teachers and moms from Red Pine Elementary who saw a need to help struggling families. Over the years it has grown to what it is now – an organization that has given out $500,000 to help struggling District 196 families and teens. Our goal is simple, to give hope to those in our community facing hardship through unexpected financial gifts of kindness.
