KnightPride finishes 2nd at Lafayette

This pat weekend the band traveled to Lafayette Contest of Champions.

Band took 2nd in their Class and outstanding Visual (4th Overall for the day)

Finals they Jumped 3 points to Finish the Day 2nd over all with a score or 80.45

This is the bands best finish since 2008.

Teens Advocating Smart Choices (TASC) will be hosting "Red Ribbon" week October 26th-30th. Each day of the week will have a dress up theme. TASC students are working hard to promote a healthy and drug free lifestyle.

Q CDC data from 2013 showed about 46% of Missouri teens report texting or e-mailing while driving. Distracted driving is the number one cause for teen death in automobile accidents.

FHN Activities Leadership Council

The Gateway Athletic Conference is a leader in sportsmanship. The conference is hosting the Sports Education Seminar on Wednesday, October 14th at Francis Howell Central. Ten students and two coaches from every GAC member school will will participate. The keynote speaker will be from the national program "What Drives Winning?" Students will engage with other schools to improve the leadership abilities of student-athletes.
