Tech Assistance for Chromebooks
The district continues to streamline the process for Chromebooks that need tech assistance. In order to meet the needs of our students with their technology needs, we are asking that if you have issues with your Chromebook, follow the new process below:
- The district asks that you use the Troubleshooting/Service Ticket Form to see if you can solve your issue with these troubleshooting directions. Most issues can be resolved following these steps.
- If you are unable to resolve your issue after following these directions, there is a form to fill out at the bottom of the troubleshooting document (link above) that will create a service ticket for your child's Chromebook.
- Once this form is filled out by you, someone from the district will be in contact with you about the issue.
- Please use an email address that you check frequently since this is the best way to contact you about the situation.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through this process.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created hardships for many of our District 204 families. As we head into the holiday season, some families may be facing challenges for the very first time. The community is invited to join District 204’s Superintendent, Dr. Adrian Talley, as he welcomes leaders from community organizations for the next Parent University at 7 pm on November 18, streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel. Dr. Talley will be joined by Gina Bogin, Social Worker, Waubonsie Valley High School; Mary Boulos, Associate Director of CARES Programs, Loaves & Fishes Community Services; Kim White, Executive Director, Career & Networking Center; and Tariq Khondker, Senior Research Coordinator, DuPage County Community Services. The group will discuss the wide variety of resources available to support families. Parents can submit a question in advance for the panel by using this online form.

Parents can begin scheduling conferences on November 3 through ParentVUE at the times listed below. Please note, if you have children in more than one level, you will need to wait until the assigned level opens before scheduling conferences for your younger children.
• High school scheduling begins at 8 am
• Middle school scheduling begins at 10 am
• Elementary school scheduling begins 12 pm
To schedule your conference, log in to ParentVUE at the designated grade level time, and select “Conference” from the menu on the left side to see the times available. Once you have scheduled your conference, you can click “Email Schedule” to have the details emailed to you. You can also go back to ParentVUE at any time to view the information. Conference scheduling will remain open through November 16. Watch this short video to see a step-by-step guide for scheduling your conference.
