ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attendance

Reminder that the state is still requiring that we take attendance during remote learning and attendance for remote learning is mandatory for students.

Please treat any absences the same as you would if we were learning in the building. If your student is going to miss any or all of the school day, call the office (847) 298-1976 to let us know.

Return To Learn Committee Update

On Tuesday, September 8, The River Trails 26 Return to Learn Committee met to discuss data needed to bring students back to the school buildings safely.

On Friday, September 11, we are excited to welcome back students who are part of our instructional special education programs at Euclid School. These are students from Prairie Trails, Indian Grove and Euclid Schools.

The Return to Learn Committee is scheduled to meet again on Tuesday, September 22 to update our hybrid plans from the summer, based on additional scientific data and successes from other school districts around the country. The district will reach out to parents with details about the future hybrid learning plans so families can make an informed decision about the learning location(s) for their children.

Benchmark Assessments Update

First grade students will be starting Aimsweb benchmark assessments this week. Please sign up for an assessment time on the Sign Up Genius sheet shared by your student's teacher.

Benchmark assessment for grades 2-5 will be happening over the next couple of weeks during class time with their teacher. Specifics on dates and times will be shared soon.
